Research has shown that wild native bees can contribute substantially to crop pollination on farms where their habitat needs are met. As honeybee hives become scarcer and more expensive, restoring native pollinators becomes increasingly more important. This talk focuses on strategies that farmers and gardeners can utilize to improve habitat and conditions on their homestead or farm to preserve and promote populations of native bees and other beneficial insects for improve pollination services.
